Golf Villas in Tenerife: Stay Right on the Course

Wake up looking at the fairway, play in shorts in January and finish the day by your own private pool. Here's how to plan a golf break in the south of Tenerife.

Tenerife is one of Europe's favourite winter golf destinations: mild temperatures all year, very little rain in the south and several courses within a short drive of each other. And if you travel as a group of friends or with family, there's nothing like a private villa right on the course. We're Ronaldo and Mane, local hosts, and these are our tips.

Why play golf in Tenerife

In the north you'll also find the historic Real Club de Golf de Tenerife and Buenavista Golf, worth a day trip if you want to see the green side of the island.

Tip

In winter, book your tee times a few days in advance, especially for weekends. Most clubs rent clubs and buggies, so you don't need to fly with your bag if you don't want to.

Why a villa beats a hotel for a golf trip

Our villas facing a golf course

Amarilla Golf: 8 villas for up to 8 guests each, three storeys with a master suite and roof terrace, private pool and views over the course. Three of them (Villa 4 Red, Villa 5 Green and Villa 6 Pink Princess) have a heated pool. The supermarket is about 5 minutes on foot, the seafront restaurants and the small marina are within walking distance, and the airport is about 10 minutes away.

Villa Alisios Golf Luxury: in La Caleta (Adeje), next to Golf Costa Adeje, with a heated private pool, sea views from the upper terrace and a private garage.

For the non-golfers in the group

While some play, the rest can enjoy the beaches of El Médano, a whale and dolphin watching trip, Siam Park or a day up Mount Teide. We can help you organise excursions and a hire car.
